The transferable phone credit system NOMAD was successfully tested between Ireland and Nigeria using FreedomCall technology. Now people from all over the globe have a service to send small payments home to their families back in their home country.

96% of vouchers were redeemed out of a total of 200 issued. The anecdotal feedback was overwhelmingly positive and written testimonials were received from two sources, one from an English engineer working for Addax an American oil and gas exploration company in Lagos Nigeria. One of his staff had been sent a VIN [Voucher Identity Number] and he had got to hear about it and took the time to send an email congratulating us on this initiative and wanted to know more.

We proved that the technology works with the VIN numbers making their way to the beneficiaries and then to FreedomCall and that the mobile phone is the only medium that can generate this level of reliability in such a personal and tailored way. Many texted or called those who had sent them the messages.

One of the key features of the services is that the beneficiary receives the VIN directly to his mobile phone. At a time that is convenient to the user he enters the agent’s office and following a simple process is paid in local currency. There are no middle men and no complicated procedures to follow.

NOMAD guarantees that that the amount being sent, less the low service fee, is what will arrive in the hands of your friends and family. No longer will you have to wait and see what your mother, sister and other family members receive, you will know exactly what they will have in their hands.

The service fee on remittance of £50.00 to £100.00 is simply 5%, that’s it.

Simply purchase the desired credit amount. You will be issued with a secure VIN number. Then send a SMS (Text) message to your family member back in your home country, with a note that tells them to go to a participating bank and cash it in.
