International Callback is available to users anywhere in the world. All you need is a touch tone phone and a callback account on the FreedomCall network. Callback is used by people who wish to save money when making international calls and have no alternative operators to choose from. Customers outside the UK regularly use this product as Callback gives you the freedom to call internationally at highly competitive rates by avoiding expensive incumbent PTT charges. You should be aware that in some countries using International callback is against the law, this is how the monopoly PTT and government protect their position. International callback is not against the law in the UK which is why we can offer this service.

How does it work?

First the callback has to be triggered, we do this by using SMS or by entering your callback number in this page, see below:

1. You send the number you wish to be called back on as a text message to 0044 7 857 857 528

2. You enter the number you wish to be called back on in the box below in full international format.

The FreedomCall system then calls back on the number entered. You pick up the phone, hear dial tone, and enter your phonecard number when prompted. Once authorised and funds validated you may make any number of consecutive outbound calls by pressing # at the end of each call. If you are not making any more calls simply hang up.

SMS and internet triggering is particularly suitable in countries where there are no direct access numbers to UK available for direct calling. You need to have a touch-tone phone in order to use this service.

International Callback is a prepaid product which you can purchase direct from these pages. Simply go to the Payments Options page and follow the simple instructions. By only offering this as a prepaid product we keep our administration costs to a minimum and pass the savings to our customers in the great rates we offer.

We first ask you to complete our online application that enables us to set up the service for you. You are then directed to the secure payment page where we take your credit card details and the amount of FreedomCall you wish to purchase. When the payment is confirmed we will send you your phonecard number. We use the highest levels of encryption, security and fraud control for the payment instructions which are processed by PayPal, an eBay company.

When your credit has run down you top-up using the same process but entering your phonecard number as your account number.
